Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking with Peaceful Pearls vacation home, operated by Vinyard Technology Company, Inc. Dba “Peaceful Pearls” (“us”, “we”, or “our”). For the purpose of this Agreement the Guest or Renter shall be referred to as “Renter,” whether singular or plural.
Your access to and use of the vacation home is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all guest and visitors who wish to access or use the vacation home.
When you use our vacation home, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms of Service. If you violate of any of the terms, we may terminate your stay.
Check-in / Check-out Procedures
Check-in and Check-outs are conducted through text messaging
- CHECK-IN begins at 4:00 p.m. on the date of your arrival as indicated on your Reservation Confirmation.
- CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is no later than 10:00 a.m. on your departure date.
Check-out duties include:
- Place used towels in the bathtub.
- Do not bother to make any beds that were used.
- Load and start the dishwasher.
- Take kitchen trash to the dumpster.
- Turn off all lights.
- Set thermostats to 80 in Summer, 60 in Winter.
- Ensure beach items, bikes, and gas grill are in the garage.
- Ensure garage door is shut and ceiling light is off.
- Lock both inner and outer doors.
Cancellations By Renter
- Should the Renter have to cancel for any reason, the Renter must notify Peaceful Pearls immediately in writing, via email at hello@peacefulpearls.com. Failure to cancel in writing may result in charging the final payment.
- Renter will not be entitled to reimbursement for any advance rent payment. The Renter is responsible to verify that the cancellation notification has been received by Peaceful Pearl.
Cancellations By Us
- If Peaceful Pearls becomes unavailable prior to your occupancy, we will make every effort to schedule another date. We will notify you of this circumstance as soon as we become aware of it. If we are unable to schedule another date, we will refund 100% of your payment. We reserve the right to automatically cancel a reservation if the amount due is not paid with 14 days of the date the reservation is made.
- We reserve the right to cancel your reservation at any time prior to your reservation date. In such event, all payments made to us will be refunded, and we will be liable for any damages of any sort incurred by Renter as a result of such cancellation.
Refunds
- We will make every effort to ensure that Renter’s stay is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. We cannot guarantee that the Renter’s vacation stay will be flawless or that the property and its amenities are flawless. However, we will make reasonable efforts to respond to deficiencies and malfunctions.
- Renter agrees that NO refunds, discounts, or transfers will be granted for the malfunction of any appliance or amenity, inclement weather, mechanical breakdowns, or other adverse circumstances beyond our control. Further examples of circumstances which DO NOT warrant any refund, discount, or alternate Property, etc. include but are not limited to: breakdown of air conditioners; TV’s, VCR’s, DVR’s, DVD’s or other electronics or appliances which malfunction, disruption of use or access to the beach due to nature or construction; presence of insects; disruption of utility services including cable, internet, water, electric, a Property not decorated to Renter’s tastes; problems which have not yet been reported to us; bad weather; or noisy neighbors. The incidental presence of pests or bugs which do not render the property unfit or uninhabitable will not present cause for refunds or discounts.
- Renter agrees to report any and all problems to us as soon as is practical. We agree to make every effort to resolve the reported problem as quickly as possible, however, cannot guarantee when the problem will be resolved. Speed of service cannot be guaranteed. Renter understands and agrees that emergency repair and service calls will be returned promptly, and that the urgency of any problems and its resolution will be solely determined by the us. Calls deemed to effect non-essential services will be returned the following business day. In cases of medical or fire emergencies the Renter will call 911 emergency services.
Extras
The property will be supplied with bed, bath, and kitchen linens. An initial supply of basic household products such as trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, and bath soap will be provided. Only basic soaps are provided, so please bring your own toiletries
Parking
Park directly in front of the unit. There is room for two cars, perhaps more if they are small and closely spaced. Otherwise excess parking is out on the main road.
Pets
Pets are NOT allowed in the rental property. This includes renters and guest.
Personal Property
Peaceful Pearls cannot be held responsible for personal property during your stay or items left behind following departure. Please call us immediately to report items you have left, and we will try to locate the items. If you request, we will be return the item to you via US Postal Service with shipping charges. Unclaimed items are donated to charity after 14 days.
Smoking/Noise
- Smoking is NOT Allowed inside the Unit, inside the Entryway (or where smoke can enter through entryway), inside the Garage or on the Balconies. (Do not dispose of used cigarettes or cigarette remains inside the property, on the driveway, in the bushes, landscaped areas or grass. There is a trash receptacle at the end of the lane for cigarette remain disposal).
- There are several permanent residents – none enjoy late night activities and loud noises. Please be courteous.
Pool
Please follow pool rules and hours posted in the pool area.
Linens
Linens are provided for the rental period. Beds will be supplied with bedspreads or comforters. Any and all damages caused to the linens will be charged to the Renter.
Grill
There is a grill available for use by the Renter. Renter is responsible to thoroughly clean the grill upon departure.
Fees
Tenant understands and agrees to the following fees and charges:
- Per night fee for rental period
- Walton Co. Discretionary Tax
- Florida Sales Tax
- Tourist Development Tax (County Bed Tax)
- Cleaning Fee – $250
Minimum Age and Usage.
Peaceful Pearls is a family rental home business and does not normally rent to vacationing college students or young adults unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian unless specifically approved. We require a Minimum Age of 25 for guests to enter into a Reservation Agreement (all guests need to be 25 or older if not a family).
Guest Liability
Peaceful Pearls is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while in the property, on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Minimum rental period
The minimum rental period is 3 nights or longer in peak season
